The right alternative to Atlas Funded depends on why you are looking. A trader leaving over cost needs a different comparison from one leaving over drawdown mechanics or payout process. This article is organised by reason, with what to check in any firm’s terms and how FOREXIVE’s structure relates, using only facts we publish ourselves.

Before you compare: a note on sources

We do not make claims about Atlas Funded or any other firm. If something about your current firm is driving the decision, confirm it from that firm’s own current terms first, so you are comparing against the rules as written rather than as remembered. Our seven questions to answer before buying from Atlas Funded work as a checklist for that step.

Reason 1: the cost of entry

If price is the issue, compare total cost, not the headline figure. Check whether there is a single upfront fee or a deferred structure, whether a later fee falls due on passing or activation, and whether any fee is refundable.

Illustrative arithmetic (hypothetical round numbers, not any firm’s prices): if you expect to need two attempts, a $120 plan costs $240 in total, while a $90 plan costs $180. A small difference per attempt compounds with repeat purchases.

FOREXIVE publishes three routes with verified prices:

Account 1-Step 2-Step
$5K $39 $29
$10K $59 $49
$25K $109 $99
$50K $209 $189
$100K $319 $299
$200K $599 $549

Instant accounts, with no evaluation phase, are priced at $1K $15 · $2.5K $29 · $5K $55 · $10K $79. Access offers a lower upfront entry of $10 on the 1-Step structure and $5 on the 2-Step structure; the rest is settled after you pass, per the Access terms.

Reason 2: the drawdown method

Drawdown is where most rule frustration starts. When comparing firms, establish three things for each plan: whether the limit is measured on balance or equity, whether it is static or trailing, and whether the daily limit is checked intraday or at an end-of-day cut-off. Our explainer on static versus trailing drawdown sets out how each method changes the room you have after a winning run.

For FOREXIVE, the drawdown rules are published with each plan and those documents are authoritative. Read them for the specific route and account size you are considering, rather than assuming they match anything you have used before.

Reason 3: payout cadence and process

If the payout process is your reason for leaving, be precise about which part concerned you: the waiting period before the first request, the frequency after that, the verification steps, or how decisions are communicated. Each is a separate clause, and firms differ on each.

In any firm’s terms, look for the conditions between passing and the first withdrawal, any minimum activity requirement, and any discretion the firm reserves. It also helps to write down what a workable process would look like for you, such as how long you can wait, which documents you are prepared to provide, and how you want decisions explained, then test each firm’s terms against that list. Our overview of how prop firm payouts work sets out the stages most firms use.

FOREXIVE’s payout terms are published with each plan; we do not summarise timing or frequency here because the plan documents are the authoritative source.

Reason 4: platform and instrument coverage

Sometimes the issue is practical: the platform, the symbols available, or the trading hours. Before switching, list the instruments you actually trade and the tools you rely on, then confirm each one against the new firm’s platform and instrument list. Do not assume coverage carries over from one firm to another. Check contract specifications as well as symbol names, because the same instrument can have different trading hours, contract sizes or swap treatment from one platform to the next. FOREXIVE does not offer futures accounts, so if futures are central to your approach, our structure will not fit.

Reason 5: rule surprises between stages

A common source of disappointment is a strategy that was acceptable during the evaluation but restricted on the funded account. News trading, weekend holding, expert advisers and copy trading are the usual areas. When comparing firms, read the evaluation rules and the funded rules side by side and note any line that differs.

Your choice of route matters too. A one-phase evaluation has fewer transitions than a two-phase one; the trade-off is fewer checkpoints against a lower entry price. At FOREXIVE the 1-Step route has one evaluation phase and the 2-Step route has two phases at a lower entry price, with rules published for each.

Reason 6: account size and scaling

If you want more capital, check two things: the largest account you can buy outright, and whether there is a separate scaling plan with its own conditions. These are different routes to size, and the second usually depends on performance over time.

At FOREXIVE, the largest purchasable account is $200,000. We do not offer a 3-Step evaluation or custom challenges. Any scaling terms are published with the plan, and those are authoritative.

What switching costs you

Changing firms is not free, even if the new evaluation is cheaper. Some things do not transfer:

  • Track record: your history with one firm does not count towards another firm’s requirements.
  • Scaling progress: any progress towards a larger allocation stays with the firm where you earned it.
  • Familiarity: you will be learning a new rulebook, and early mistakes often come from habits formed under different rules.

Weigh those against your reason for leaving. If the reason is a single clause you can work around, staying may cost less than starting again. If it is structural, such as a drawdown method that does not suit your holding period, a fresh start under rules that fit may be the better trade. Our article on what to weigh when switching from FundedNext covers the same trade-off from a different starting point.

Frequently asked questions

Is FOREXIVE a direct replacement for Atlas Funded?

We do not compare ourselves with named firms. Check your current firm’s terms, then read our plan rules and decide whether the structure suits the way you trade.

Does FOREXIVE offer a 3-Step evaluation?

No. FOREXIVE offers 1-Step, 2-Step and Instant routes, plus Access on the 1-Step and 2-Step structures. There is no 3-Step or custom challenge.

Where are FOREXIVE’s drawdown and payout rules?

They are published with each plan, and those documents are authoritative.

Trading involves risk. Evaluations use simulated accounts, most traders do not pass, and nothing on this page is investment advice. No funding or payout is guaranteed.

If one of these reasons applies to you, compare the FOREXIVE evaluation routes and read the rules for your chosen plan before buying.
